Feasibility Studies
Tourist Railway
A number of disused railways are under discussion for re-opening by organisations outside the main national railway. Assessments of economic viability need to be linked to the engineering feasibility of being able to construct an appropriate track layout, and an operational strategy which is workable. These may be severely limited by the land available, and liaison with town planners is often essential.
